Armeria,
It's more commonly known as sea thrift, can often be seen growing in coastal locations. It is a very versatile, evergreen clump forming perennial. The leaves are narrow, grass like and dark green. This 'Armeria Maritima 'Morning Star Rose' has lots of attractive round heads of fuchsia-pink flowers. Brilliant to grow in gravel gardens, rockeries or as a dainty edging plant. Fully hardy and very easy to grow and maintain.
