SNOW IN SUMMER – CERASTIUM TOMENTOSUM .

 

A very easily grown, low-lying, creeping, mat-forming perennial providing all year round silvery-white, woolly foliage with a thick carpet of pure white flowers during May and June.  An essential part of any rock garden and especially attractive on slopes or trailing over walls. Best in a sunny location with good drainage.
