Variegated cream, green and red-flushed foliage, acts as a backdrop to the slender reddish pink buds, which open to reveal a plush purple corolla. Gold Mountain
Forms a light, densely branched shrub. An elegant, bushy, deciduous plant, Gold Mountain has an upright and free flowering habit. The attractive lime-yellow or golden foliage makes it a very striking plant. The foliage colour of Gold Mountain intensifies in autumn and makes for a very eye catching plant.
Dainty, pendant, single blooms of cerise and violet bloom throughout the summer and early autumn.
Can be grown in full sun but a semi-shaded position is best as this helps protect the foliage from scorching.
Described as hardy but Gold Mountain prefers a little protection in winter.
If left untrimmed Gold Mountain can reach a height of 2m.
