Mixed Salad Leaves - Mesclun Mixed
Our favourite for mixed salad. Producing a delicious and colourful blend of salad greens and herbs. For a zesty alternative to everyday-salad and the standard variety for all good restaurants. (“mesclun” means “mixture”)
Includes green and red cutting lettuce, Rocket, tatsoi, mizuna, Red Giant Mustard and Red Russian Kale. A great addition to liven up plain lettuce and a feast for the eyes and a gourmet treat.

LETTUCE MIXED SALAD LEAVES - 'Mesclun Mixed' | Cut n come again!
Supplied in a tray of 20 XL Plug Plants, these can be planted either directly into the garden or large pots/containers, in a warm, sunny spot.
Space each plug plant approx 6" apart to give them room to grow. Requires virtually no maintenance other than watering in dry spells.
Lettuce Mixed Leaf Mesclun Mix
- Lettuce is hardy so you can plant as soon as the soil can be worked.
- Can also be planted in the autumn for a late harvest.
- You can either harvest the whole plant, or just snip off the leaves you need and the plant will keep growing.
- Harvest with scissors 1 inch above soil line when plants are 4 to 6 inches high.
- Most varieties will grow back.
- In dry weather, keep soil moist and during germination.
