Runner Beans - 'Firestorm'
The first completely self fertile scarlet-flowered runner bean! Runner Bean 'Firestorm' produces stringless beans which are slightly thicker, sweeter and more tender than other varieties. This superb runner bean will even set in high temperatures or poor weather, so you can be sure of good crops throughout the summer.
With its excellent garden performance and attractive scarlet flowers it no wonder that this variety was given a Gardening Which Award, and has a degree of self pollination which means they crop better early and late when bees are in short supply.

Packed as 3x 9cm pots, each pot has 2 plants. When
planting, Place each pot equally between 2
support canes and train each plant to one cane.
OR 1x tray of 6 individual plants
Height 3m, pinch out growing tip once
plant has reached its height
Care Water daily, feed every 7-14 days
Pick beans regularly to encourage more growth
DO NOT allow beans to set seed
Harvest Period July - October Handy Tip Plant nasturtiums nearby as this will draw
pests such as black-fly away from your crops.
