SPRING ONIONS - Paris Silverskin'
A longstanding and rightly popular Heirloom variety dating back to 1859 mainly grown for pickling. Paris white is fast maturing and produces good crops of small, silvery white onions which are also excellent for freezing, used fresh in stews and soups or when pulled young to add zing to salads. Can be grown in pots and containers.

- For the finest onions, plant in full sun to partial shade and in well-drained soil as soon as the ground can be worked in Spring.
- Plant the plug plants 1"-2" apart, it is best not to separate the 2 seedlings which are in each plug.
- Can be used for pickling
- Fertile, moist soil enriched with compost is best for onion production.
